An Alabama A&M University student has been banned from campus while police investigate a charge of rape against him. Jefferson Le’Frank Chandler is free on $10,000 bond, but will not be allowed to return to campus until a judicial review is complete.
The school has not released details about the alleged crime, but did confirm Chandler as a student. The alleged sexual assault is believed to have taken place in an all-male campus dormitory.
