Albany State University today signed an articulation agreement with the Deerfield-Windsor school, giving students at the prestigious secondary school the opportunity to earn college credits in English and calculus. Qualified teachers of these courses will also earn adjunct positions at ASU through this program.
“This is an historic moment for the private sector and public education; and it’s also a signature moment that shows that we can move to abolish boundaries and barriers in education,” said Albany State President Everette J. Freeman
ASU has articulation agreements with Albany Technical College, Darton State College and the Dougherty County school system. Deerfield-Windsor is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory, day school for grades K4-12 located in Albany, GA., and boasts a 100 percent college admissions rate for its upper school graduates.
