Army Renews Social Work Degree Partnership with Fayetteville State
[mpoverlay]The Army has renewed a five-year partnership with Fayetteville State University to offer a master’s of social work program at the Army Medical Department Center & School in Fort Sam Houston, TX. The partnership will yield FSU a minimum of $625,000 over the life of the contract.
FSU is the only HBCU with a program on the base, and will enroll more than 40 students through this renewal, school officials told the Fayetteville Observer. Army, Navy, National Guard veterans and Department of Defense civilians have comprised previous degree cohorts.[/mpoverlay]
