Benedict College today announced the withdrawal of three students implicated in the Sept. 23 physical attack on an individual in the Five Points area of Columbia, SC.

Stanley McBride, John Sumner and Michael Kendrix were all arrested last week in connection with the attack. From the statement:

Mr. Stanley McBride, Mr. John Cornelius Sumner and Mr. Michael Jermel Kendrix have been administratively withdrawn from Benedict College. Students may be withdrawn administratively from the College at any time by the administration for the good of the College.

It is the policy of Benedict College not to comment on pending legal matters or investigations.
