Claflin’s Aubrey Jackson Grabs Headlines as Emerging Broadcast Journalist

Claflin University senior Aubrey Jackson has been making a splash in the world of broadcast journalism. Through an exchange program between Boston University and CU, Jackson recently interviewed fashion mogul Tyra Banks as a correspondent for mtvU.
I would definitely say the greatest thing about interviewing Tyra was the confirmation that this is what I want to do,” says Jackson, who was Miss Homecoming 2011 at the University. “I felt nervous but once the cameras started rolling I went to work.”
Jackson has also interned for ABC’s ‘Good Morning, America,’ and was featured on air last July.
