Confirmed Shooting at Morgan State

Baltimore City officials have confirmed that a shooting took place on the campus of Morgan State University this afternoon. WJZ-TV is reporting that the victim was a non-student who was on campus to watch MSU football practice, and was assaulted in the university student center, sustaining a gunshot wound to the chest.
The victim is in critical condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital. All campus classes have been canceled for this evening. The campus was notified of the shooting through text alerts from MSU police officials. Authorities are in the process of sweeping the student center, but believe that the shooter is not on campus.
