A North Carolina A&T female employee has filed a sex discrimination lawsuit against the university, alleging that the school did not do enough to rectify a hostile work environment created by a male professor.
Wendy Anderson filed suit in federal court last week, alleging that Eric Cheek, an adjunct professor in the electrical and computer engineering department, “engaged in illegal discrimination … on account of sex, specifically hostile work environment discrimination.”
Anderson, who according to the university’s website works in institutional assessment, charges that rather than rectify the situation, the school simply transferred her. (Greensboro News & Record)[/mpoverlay]
