FAMU Alum Joe Briggs Named National Bar Association’s Lawyer of the Year

Florida A&M University alumnus Joe Briggs was recently named “Sports, Entertainment and Arts Lawyer of the Year” by the National Bar Association. Briggs serves as public policy counsel for the National Football League Players’ Association, and is a professor in Georgetown University’s Sports Industry Management program.
Briggs was among FAMU’s inaugural recipients of its Young Alumni “40 Under 40″ award in 2010.
