A team of MBA students from the Florida A&M University School of Business and Industry won the university’s first top prize in the annual Black Executive Exchange Program. The program invites collegians from around the country to develop a strategic plan based upon a corporate case study.
Case competition coach Jennifer Collins-Bowers said she is very proud of the students’ work.
“They worked really hard and represented the School of Business and Industry and Florida A&M University well,” said Collins-Bowers, assistant professor for the Division of Management Services in the SBI. “It was a pleasure to serve as the adviser for this team. We would not have been successful without the overwhelming support and assistance we received from Dean Shawnta Friday-Stroud, SBI faculty, staff and BEEP Campus Liaison Ms. Pamela Zackery. This win demonstrates that our university team is committed to producing students who are critical thinkers and have the ability to solve complex problems facing our global economy.”
