Fayetteville State to Announce Capital Campaign
The Fayetteville Observer today reports that Fayetteville State University will announce its largest capital campaign in school history next month. FSU Chancellor James Anderson confirmed in an interview with the Observer that the announcement will be made at the university’s homecoming football game on Oct. 27.
The money raised from the campaign would be used primarily for student and athletic scholarships, faculty and staff development and university operations. Some of the proceeds also would be used to expose students to more artists, writers and other accomplished individuals, as well as to continue programs that help veterans and the military at FSU.
