Former UDC Standout Nigel Munson Invited to Washington Wizards Pre-Draft Workout

Nigel Munson, star of the University of the District of Columbia men’s basketball team from 2009-2012, participated in a NBA Pre-Draft workout with the Washington Wizards on Friday, May 25th.
“I’m really happy for Nigel,” University of the District of Columbia head men’s basketball coach Jeff Ruland said. “He’s certainly done well here, and I hope he goes as far as he can.”
Munson, a First Team All-East Region selection this past season, ran through a series of drills designed to test players’ athletic ability and basketball IQ. He was joined by Temple’s Michael Eric, Florida State’s Xavier Gibson, Iona’s Scott Machado, Texas A&M’s Khris Middleton and College of Charleston’s Antwaine Wiggins.
