Amber Davis, a second year Industrial Electronics student at Drake State, was selected through a competitive process to spend her summer conducting research side by side with some of the world’s top scientists and engineers in the field of Energy Research.
The ten week internship is being hosted at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, one of the nation’s premier research facilities. The internship was open to all two-year college students who are naturally born citizens. “This internship will provide me with more exposure to the fields of electrical engineering and computer science,” says Davis.
