Jackson State’s Jenirro Bush to Miss Remainder of Season with Torn Achilles

Ross Dellenger of the Jackson Clarion-Ledger today reports that Tigers’ leading men’s basketball scorer Jenirro Bush will miss the remainder of the season with a torn Achilles tendon. The senior forward suffered the injury in the second half of JSU’s win over Texas Southern on Monday, effectively ending his SWAC career.
Bush, the conference preseason player of the year, was leading Jackson State in scoring at 15.5 points per game.
