Kentucky State Students Root Out Soil Erosion on Campus

Written by , Posted in Kentucky State University

Kentucky State University students rolled up their sleeves Tuesday and planted native trees to halt soil erosion on campus.

The Green Society and Student Government Association partnered to place two red maple trees and two serviceberry bushes at the corner of East Main and Douglas streets. The area is filled with soft, loose dirt and grass shoots struggling to hang on.
