Lineage of Orangeburg Massacre Leads to Unique Friendship

Two men, Rep. Bakari Sellers and Pete Strom were born of two very different legacies forged out the infamous Orangeburg Massacre of 1968. More than 40 years have passed since the murder of three men and the injury of 28 others amidst a throng of South Carolina State University students protesting racial segregation at a bowling alley near the campus.
Through reflection and common respect, Sellers and Strom find themselves at the heart of healing and understanding about the fateful day, and the roles their respective fathers played in shaping its history.
