Lockdown Ends After Morgan State Shooting

Morgan State University Police have tweeted that the campus lockdown has ended following an afternoon on-campus shooting. A non-student was shot in the chest this afternoon, and police are still searching for the shooter and accompanying information.
Campus officials say that the victim knew the shooter, and that the attack was not random. City police say that a tactical sweep of the student center yielded no information on the shooter’s whereabouts.
Students are being told to cautiously proceed through campus with business as usual, according to university officials.
