The Saint Augustine’s University women’s basketball team recently volunteered in Raleigh’s ‘Most Amazing Race,’ a fundraiser in support of the Salvation Army of Wake County’s Community Center. The Lady Falcons helped raise funds for after-school care, athletic programs and summer camps for at-risk children in the city.
“Community Service is a huge part of why I coach,” Head Coach Rachel Bullard said. “I enjoy the opportunity to learn our community, immerse our young ladies into an environment to be able to give back, and get involved where we can.”
