Saint Paul’s College yesterday announced its appeal of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools’ revocation of its accreditation. In a release, school officials say they maintain their current full accreditation status during the appeals process, but are still providing SPC students with alternative and transfer options.
“Importantly, Saint Paul’s College continues to retain its SACS accreditation while the Commission considers our appeal,” said Dr. Oliver W. Spencer, Jr., Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Saint Paul’s College. “The President’s Office, the Board of Trustees, and the College’s counsel, Troutman Sanders LLP, are developing a strategy for the SACS appeals hearing and we remain hopeful that we will be able to work with SACS over the coming weeks to reaffirm Saint Paul’s College’s accreditation.”
