South Carolina State Announces Presidential Finalists

South Carolina State University today announced Dr. Ivan Banks, Dr. Leonard McIntyre and Dr. Cynthia Warrick as the finalists for the university’s presidential vacancy.
“SC State University continues to be one of America’s great institutions of higher education,” said Dr. John H. Corbitt, acting chairman of the Board of Trustees. “As Trustees we are working hard to do what the state legislature and the Governor have assigned us to do. We are looking forward to the selection of an interim president; and I want everyone to know that the University will continue to move forward,” he continued.
Dr. Banks is currently the provost of Cheyney University in Pennsylvania, and Dr. Warrick is a senior fellow at the Howard University School of Pharmacy. Dr. McIntyre is an associate professor at SCSU.[/mpoverlay]
