Southern MBA Student Selected for Environmental Defense Fund Fellowship

Southern University MBA student Affuembey Affuembey is one of 98 students nationwide selected for a summer fellowship with the Environmental Defense Fund Climate Corps programs. Affuembey will work with Forutne 500 corporations to establish energy efficiency policies and sustainable environment practices.
Affuembey’s role at Southern is to analyze energy-saving opportunities and develop custom energy-efficiency investment plans that cut costs and carbon mission at the University.
Affuembey is excited about the opportunity. “This is a chance for me to apply my skills to a new field and make strategically contributions towards making my university better,” said Affuembey.
