SUNO to Begin Renovation to Katrina-Damaged Library

Seven years after being destroyed by Hurricane Katrina, Southern University at New Orleans will begin a $4.3 million renovation on its campus library. The library is scheduled to be completed by summer 2013.
Great for the library. Bad look for unresponsive government in rebuilding a city that needs education more than anything to welcome a true renaissance of growth for its residents.
