Alabama A&M ROTC Instructor Dies During Physical Training

Alabama A&M ROTC instructor Sergeant Major (Ret.) Randall Williams dies yesterday while participating in physical training with the cadets.
SGM Williams was a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., who rose through the ranks from Private to Sergeant Major, serving in the Air Defense Artillery Corps and completing several overseas and combat tours of duty.
Cadets remembered Williams as encouraging, inspiring, energetic and always willing to do the tasks he asked of others. (WHNT)
Williams was 49 years old.
