Written by , Posted in Tennessee State University

A new chapter of The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS), a national honors organization inviting high achieving first– and second-year students has been established at Tennessee State University.

NSCS is an interdisciplinary honor society that recognizes first – and second-year students for their academic accomplishments and provides them with an opportunity to network with other scholars, perform service activities on campus, and apply for more than a quarter million dollars in scholarships.

Membership is open to students in the top 20 percent of their class. NSCS has chapters in all 50 states, The District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
