Texas Southern All-Conference Defensive End Marquis Jackson Leaves Team

Marquis Jackson, a standout Texas Southern University defensive end has left the program and has been granted a release.
The 6-foot-5, 275-pound standout earned All-SWAC first-team honors in each of the past two seasons. Last season, Jackson had 50 tackles and six sacks while also ranking sixth in the conference with 18.5 tackles for loss.
TSU, which finished 4-7 last season, has a first-year head coach in Darrell Asberry. Last year’s interim head coach, Kevin Ramsey, has remained on staff as the defensive coordinator. (Fox News)[/mpoverlay]
