Xavier University of Louisiana recently captured the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference’s Thomas Howell Cup for the second straight year. The Howell Cup is awarded to the athletic program with the the highest point total based on place of finish in all men’s and women’s sports.

Xavier won conference titles in men’s cross country, women’s cross country, women’s volleyball, women’s basketball and men’s basketball.
