FAMU Projects 40 Percent Increase in Admitted Freshmen

Florida A&M University is on track to realize a 40-percent increase in the number of freshmen admitted for its summer and fall semesters.

William Hudson Jr., vice president for student affairs, said the focus now is maintaining contact with those who already have been admitted to make sure they commit by the May 1 deadline.

“We have increased our presence statewide by visiting more high schools, more community events and re-engaging school districts and partnering with them,” he said. (Source: Tallahassee Democrat)
