Grambling Expected to Name Stillman’s Donte Jackson Head Men’s Basketball Coach

Grambling’s seven-week basketball search has come to an end.

The Tigers are turning to Stillman (Alabama) coach Donte Jackson from the NAIA ranks as the program’s new men’s basketball coach. The move is expected to be finalized as early as Friday morning and a press conference is expected for Monday or Tuesday of next week.

Jackson got the nod over LSU-Alexandria coach Larry Cordaro. The two coaches were finalists among a list of 50 applicants for the job. Jackson interviewed for the post last week, while Corado was on campus Monday for his interview.
