Muhammad Ali Speech on Black Power at Howard

In 2014, PBS profiled a speech made by Muhammad Ali at Howard University, shortly after the launch of the Black Power student movement on the HBCU campus. The following video, taken from the ‘Eyes on the Prize’ documentary, details the rise of the movement, and Ali’s 1967 campus appearance at the invitation of the Howard student government.
